I am currently the owner of a small business specializing in the fields of change management,learning program development and delivery and group facilitation. I was employed by the Canadian government as a learning specialist, line manager,team leader, facilitator and auditor. My experience is mainly in two federal government departments, namely, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and Transport Canada and also with the Canadian School of the Public Service. Within the above organizations I occupied a number of management positions dealing with: civil aviation security training, program planning and monitoring, quality management, process improvement and performance measurement, and operations auditing. I was also a faculty member with the Canadian Centre for Management Development, where I was responsible for developing and implementing learning products. I have also taught both French and English at the adult level. Some professional assignment highlights include the following: I participated in the design and was the on-site facilitator for the delivery of a course dealing with leadership, policy making, change management and teambuilding for the Civil Service Training Development Institute of the government of Hong Kong. I have designed and delivered courses for the Canadian Centre for Management Development in the areas of Policy development and have given these courses to senior civil servants on-site in Jamaica and in Brazil. I regularly facilitate organizational development workshops for the Canadian civil service, notably for Public Works and Government Services, Transport Canada, the Department of Justice and the Canadian Security Establishment, and others. I have delivered training to Management personnel from Bombardier in their Leadership Certification Program and with management staff from Alcatel Canada and Nissan Canada. I was responsible for the development and delivery of a civil aviation security training program for the government of Nepal and its on-site delivery in Nepal. I am certified in the adminstration of the Myers Briggs Type indicator and I am a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner. I am fluent in English and French both orally and in writing.
